Invisalign® Special

Dr. Linda King is pleased to be a certified Invisalign® provider to help our patients achieve the beautiful smiles they want without the use of braces. We invite you to call Sweet Spot Smiles at 770-285-2864 today to schedule a consultation with our skilled dentist and to determine if Invisalign clear aligners are right for you.

What is the Invisalign system?
The Invisalign system is a cosmetic orthodontic treatment that uses a series of clear, removable aligners to correct tooth alignment. These aligners are created with 3D computer imaging and are designed to be comfortable and virtually undetectable during use.

Why should I try Invisalign treatment?
Invisalign clear aligners are removable as well as discreet, so you can take them out during meals, oral care and important social events. You can still eat and drink all your favorite foods and do not need to worry about brushing and flossing around your braces. Because Invisalign treatment does not use metal brackets and wires, you do not need to visit our office as frequently for adjustments. You can also view a virtual version of your treatment plan to see what your final results will be — before you begin treatment.

How does Invisalign treatment work?
During treatment, you will wear each set of aligners for two weeks and then replace them with a slightly adjusted set to keep your teeth moving until you have achieved the desired results. To ensure your treatment plan remains on track, you should wear your aligners at all times except during meal times or during your oral care routines. About once every six weeks, you will need to visit our dentist so that we can monitor your progress. Typically, treatment time ranges from nine to 15 months, but an average of 18 to 30 months is not uncommon; your duration of treatment will depend on your personal situation.

Please feel free to contact our office today for more information about Invisalign clear aligners and to schedule your personal consultation with Dr. King. We would be happy to meet with you to help you determine if Invisalign treatment is right for your smile.
